    alt

The Midsummer Classic took place last night on DraftKings, which paid out a cool $100K to 1st place. Several of our members finished towards the top of the leaderboard, with naapstermaan nearly repeating as the MSC champion. The Medium Midsummer Classic also had a six-figure prize-pool, and paid out $20K to 1st place. MLB connoisseur lovesbases secured his 3rd DFBC seat in the $535 Q, with some other notable names finishing in the top-ten. (Read More)

  • RBC Canadian Open Fantasy Golf Picks & Projections

What’s up Grinders, I’m back from Cancun and ready for another big week of PGA action. This week the tour heads to Canada for the RBC Canadian Open. This event will be held at the Royal Montreal Golf Club which is a Par-70 measuring 7,153 yards. This course only features 2 Par 5’s so Par 4 scoring will be important this week. This event has switched venues each year and hasn’t stopped at the Royal Montreal Golf Club since 2001 which makes it hard to factor in course history this week. (Read More)

We have 15 games today starting at 1PM EST. That means we’re going to be light on the analysis and possibly heavy on the sarcasm in place of it in order to get this posted at a reasonable hour before the action starts. This also means I’m rushing and more likely to make a mistake today, so if you spot one, just point it out in the comments. (Read More)

  • MLB Daily Plays July 23

We have another split schedule Wednesday with 6 early games and 9 late games. The early slate lacks a true ace, but still has some solid options. What it lacks in pitching it makes up for in offense, as there are a ton of great bats out there, even if you avoid Coors Field. Fading Coors may not be the best idea as we have yet to see that 12-10 type of game in this series and it could come today even with Strasburg on the mound. The late slate is a lot more balanced and there really doesn’t seem to be any stand out teams to stack. All in all it makes for another great day of fantasy baseball. Here are the MLB Daily Plays! Today is what happens when rotations are realigned after the all-star break. With this being the 5th day since the unofficial start of the second half, we will see some of the worst hurlers taking the bump this evening. The likes of Vance Worley, Nick Martinez, J.A. Happ, Brett Oberholtzer, and Roberto Hernandez headline this list. All unofficial members of the honorary impending doom club. Needless to say there is no shortage of hitters “in a good spot” as the saying goes. On the contrary there is just one top flight stud in Adam Wainwright and another who is pitching like one of late in (Scott Kazmir). Oh, did I mention that there is a game in Coors tonight? Yea, we should talk about that as well. Alright, enough yapping, let’s get to the picks. (Read More)
