  • The High Stakes Scene - Favre vs. Cards Gm 1

    alt

Some of the guys here at Rotogrinders tossed around the idea of doing an article series on high stakes action, and I was willing to go along with the idea if the right piece came about. Low and behold, I noticed that our old DFS friend BrettFavre444 was back in action on DraftStreet. If you check out his Twitter page, you can see that he’s back and brash as ever. My interest piqued and I challenged him to a high stakes best of seven series on DraftStreet. The winner will walk away with a rake-free $5,000 in profit thanks to the good guys over there at DraftStreet, and it will be a fun seven game series with me doing a piece on each game of the contest. Let’s check out how Game One fared. (Read More)

Full disclosure. I’m coming off my worst night in this short MLB DFS season. I don’t share this to scare you off my picks, but rather to clarify that, lest you think otherwise, us so-called “experts” have our off nights as well. They are unavoidable. Such is the life of a grinder. The goal is simple; to have more good days than bad ones. With that in mind, tonight is a new night, and I’ll be dusting myself off and firing away with confidence. Here’s hoping for a rebound night for not just myself, but anyone else who invested heavily in King Felix last night. Alright, enough of my yammering, let’s get to the picks (Read More)
