College Football Baker's Dozen - Week 1

Welcome to the Weekly College Football Baker’s Dozen! Each week I’ll be bringing you my list of 13 games, and or players to be targeting to win all the points.

Weekly CFB is my favorite sport for a couple reasons especially in September. First the information is a bit harder to find and the player base is huge due to the number of teams, so knowledge is power. Second, people will build lineups consisting of their favorite school; this is where you can crush some head to heads and double ups! And third there is lots of NFL and MLB money that players will pump into action on Saturdays.

Lets get this thing started!

1. TJ Barrett – Get familiar with this kid. He has lots going for him this week – He is min salary on FanDuel, he plays Navy and Urban Meyer has a reputation as one who will run the score up.

2. Treyvon Green – He is the #1 RB vs. CAL who last year did not play D vs. the run, this could be a repeat of last year’s big game vs. CAL.

3. Todd GurleyUGA will be looking for revenge and with the departure of QB Aaron Murray I think that Gurley will see all the work he can handle. I would not be surprised to see 150 yards and 2 TDs.

4. Jared Goff & Chris Harper – This CAL / NU game is going to be a high scoring affair and this combo could post monster numbers.

5. Jameis Winston, Rashad Greene and Karlos WilliamsFSU will score lots in this game and I’m guessing all 3 could end up with 2 TDs each. FSU lost a lot of skill players to the NFL so early on I’ll be rolling with the returning players who played big roles last year. If you can guess who will be the breakout WR outside of Greene you could win a big GPP.

6. Dak Prescott & Jameon Lewis – Southern Miss does not like to play Defense and these are the 2 best playmakers for MSU. Both could be in store for huge games.

7. Cody Kessler, Javorius Allen and Nelson AgholorUSC is my pick to surprise a lot of people this season and with the opener being vs. Fresno, load up on your Trojans. USC should post a 50 burger.

8. Jeff Driskel and Kelvin Taylor – Florida has a new up-tempo offense and they should be able to score at will against Idaho. Driskel may be a QB but he could be in line for several rushing TDs.

9. Rakeem Cato & Tommy Shuler – Marshall has already started a Heisman campaign for Cato and Shuler has back to back 100 catch seasons. Look for Marshall to run up scores all year long.

10. Brett Hundley – He will be very expensive on all sites but he came back to UCLA for 1 more year and has 40 FP potential.

11. Devin Gardner & Devin Funchess – Michigan should win in a route here. Their coach is in a bit of hot water and they should blow App. State out of the water, I don’t expect another upset. Gardner will be expensive but he should post some monster numbers, if you can find Funchess as a TE he becomes a must play.

12. Jamison Crowder – Crowder is motivated to prove he is a top WR and should shred Elon. He has a history of posting huge games against weaker competition.

13. Storm Woods – Woods is another player who loves going up against lower tier teams. He is the total package; he runs, catches and plays on the goal line. He is really appealing on high PPR sites.
