Mondays are great as we get a whole new set of series to take a look at and besides a front end of the a double header, all the games are scheduled for the evening. I didn’t include Jared Weaver in my analysis today because I’m sure that everyone agrees that using him against the team he just pitched a no hitter against 5 days ago probably qualifies as a good play. Historically, starts after no hitters have not been particularly good (ask Phil Humber), but the Twins suck so bad Weaver should have very few issues putting together a good out. Light scheduling day with 5 day and 4 night games. No real aces going today except for Dan Haren but Haren has struggled in the past against Adam Lind, Kelly Johnson, Jose Bautista, and Edwin Encarnacion so I would label him a risky play to avoid. The Angels offense finally got rolling last night but still not much from Albert Pujols, for his price I would say he is almost a must play every day from here on out with the potential that he has.
