  • Daily Joust Introduces NBA Solo Survivor Tournaments

    It’s awesome to see the Daily Fantasy Sports industry continue to grow and innovate. Joust just unveiled a new game format this week, and it’s pretty sweet. It’s called the NBA Solo Survivor Tournament, and I haven’t heard of anything quite like this before. It’s a multi-day contest consisting of individual solo contests, a game-variety where you set a lineup vs. a set amount of points as opposed to an opposing lineup. Win a Solo contest by January 31st and you’re in the Survivor Tournament. Everyone who qualifies then enters an all-out survival battle until only one man is left standing. (Read More)

    When the news arrived that Daily Joust was going to run another Super Joust contest for basketball season, I was obviously pretty excited. If you don’t know, I had a pretty solid showing in the inaugural Super Joust and took home about $6,000 in cash and a pair of Super Bowl tickets (which I parlayed into another $5,000). It was without question the most exciting, yet stressful time I’ve had playing Daily Fantasy, but now it’s time to defend the crown.
