NBA DFS Picks: DraftKings & FanDuel Expert Survey for Wednesday, April 3

Who is your top contrarian play (when considering price, matchup, projected ownership, etc.) on the board and why?

Notorious: Kyle Kuzma – He originally wasn’t expected to play tonight but has since been taken off the injury report completely. The fact that he was on the injury report in the first place should keep ownership down. The way I see it, he wouldn’t be playing if he didn’t feel like he’s 100% healthy. This is a revenge game against his former team, and he has quietly topped 40 fantasy points in 11 of his last 15 games.

squirrelpatrol: Dalano Banton – I’ll likely be overweight the POR/CHA game with all of the pieces missing there, and Banton is a player I’m very interested in facing Charlotte. Banton has seen his scoring average jump from 3.4 points per game before the All-Star Break to 16.7 points per game after the break and is still priced below $7,000 on both FD and DK.

headChopper: Kyle Anderson – Anderson is not getting any ownership projections of note right now. He just kind of blends into the slate. However, the Wolves are on the second night of a back-to-back and are a 16-point favorite. They also play in the late window, relative to the slate. So, we may get news that someone is sitting out for this team, and that could boost a guy like Anderson after lock. If there is no news, then that’s fine. He still has outs. He has hit 27+ DK points in 7 of the last 9 games.

Stevietpfl: Deandre Ayton – After missing 4 games with elbow issues, Ayton returned and played 24 minutes against Miami. He played 36 minutes against Orlando on Monday and should play 30+ minutes again tonight. Charlotte is one of the worst rebounding teams in the NBA, and they’re going to be without 5-7 players tonight. This is an amazing spot for Ayton, and I think he has a big ceiling tonight.
