If you’ve hung out in DraftStreet Chat, you undoubtedly are familiar with likdeeznutz. Normally you wouldn’t think a guy with that screen name would be very approachable, but I guess nut-licking screen names can be deceiving. Deez is a chat favorite and quite the snake draft expert. I’ve been shooting the breeze with him for months on DS, so when I heard that he got this tattoo I had to learn more. Here’s a quick interview with the man himself:

Cal: Hey Deez, can you shed some light on your background for the non-DS chatters that don’t already know you?

Deez: Name is Junior but most know me on fantasy sites as Likdeeznutz. I’m from the Pittsburgh Pa area. I’ve spent most my life here. I am a die hard Pirates, Steelers, and Penguins fan. Been doing fantasy sports for 27 years now. Back in the day where everything we did was done by the USA Today and the commissioner of our league drove to our house with the weekly stats and standings.

I am 41 years old Married with 3 kids ages 18,7,and 4..i come from a milatary family from my great grandfather grand father father brother and sister. I spent close to 14 years in the milatary and got out cause blew my rotary cuff and lost partial hearing in my left ear but got full retirement pension. now onto the the tat.

What inspired you to get this tattoo?

Well one day we were in the draftstreet chat room talking about the hoodies and pens how nice the store was and out of the blue I said maybe i should get a DraftStreet tattoo. So i told Markness i will get a 2×2 DS tattoo on my arm and they were all like “Yea right“…well a week later I went and got the tat. I emailed him a picture of it and he was more than happy to pay for it – $110, and they threw in an extra $300 bonus

How many tattoos do you have?

I have 8 tats already so what the heck is another. As most know my brother was killed in Iraq in 2004 and just like me he was
big into Texas Holdem. Before he left for Iraq we played cards and the last hand I beat him with I had the 10 of Hearts
and Jack of Spades so I also have that tat on my calf.

Any funny stories from while you were getting this inked? What did the artist think about tattooing a daily fantasy site on your arm?

When I was getting this tat the artist looked at me and said “I’ve been tatooing for 19 years and never did a website tat.” Then he asked if it was on ebay and did I post an advertsiement like i will advertise your business to the highest bidder i kinda of laughed and said no.

I see you’ve signed up to four different sites in your RotoGrinders profile, but you really only play on DraftStreet, and you play a lot. What do you like about DraftStreet?

I love Draftstreet. Most of the players there are great and the main reason I only play at that site is because of the management – Mark, Michael, Jermey, and Brian. They are the best – anytime you need something taken care of they are right there to answer any quiestions you may have. Also when you make a withdrawal you get the money put on your PayPal or get your check in a matter of 4-5 days tops. The management is only reason I wont play at other sites. I am member of 4 other sites but why play them if i am happy where I am at.
