It’s hard to believe the NFL season is already almost over. Those amazing 4 months seem to go by even faster now that I’ve discovered daily fantasy sports. Like I’ve mentioned before, matchups mean everything in fantasy football. A great example is to look at Beanie Wells two week stretch against the 49ers and the Rams. The 49ers have one of the best defenses in the league and managed to hold Beanie in check for only 33 yards. Then the next week, Beanie played against the Rams who are one of the leagues worst defenses against the run and Beanie took full advantage of this by rushing for over 200 yards and a TD. Read More
Overall, I think the matchups from last week misled me a bit. The running backs I chose definitely came through for me, but the QB/WR combos of Hasslebeck/Williams and Palmer/Schilens really cost me. But even after a so-so week, I am more confident than ever that picking your team based on good matchups will benefit you in the long run. With that being said, I’m here to try it again this week.
