CFB DFS Slate Breakdown: Week 8 (Main Slate)

We had a successful previous article (and profitable week), smashing most of the RB plays including a pretty good recommendation on Davis-Price who ended up being the difference maker this week. We will try again this week, although it may not be as simple as last week (the pricing errors were insane last week), and we have a lot of undesirables this week. The pricing is tougher, but there are less possible options. It should be a much different roster construction week.

Kansas State (30.5)

Offense: 44th
Defense: 52nd
Plays Per Game: 59

Skylar Thompson ($6,000) is back and was relatively effective against a good defense in Iowa State last week. We know Thompson has rushing ability, which he hasn’t shown a lot of yet (he might actually be a bit scared to run having such a vibrant injury history), but I would expect some positive rushing games are in his future. When you look at the Texas Tech defense, this is one of the more dream-like matchups for Thompson as they struggle against the ground and can be attacked through the air. Thompson has one of the better value projections on the slate and is arguably the top QB in terms of point per dollar here – I love using him in cash, and think he is a nice pairing with Vaughn in GPP. You definitely want some exposure here.
