Twice a week, Andy Means will be bringing Premium subscribers his top cash game plays to build around. A former Duke basketball walk-on and now top-ranked DFS player, Andy will take an in-depth look into each of his core plays, and then blend it all together from a roster construction perspective.

Tuesday, March 21st

Hello all and welcome to NBA Core Plays! I am thrilled to be writing for RotoGrinders and hope you find this article very useful. The idea of this piece is to provide you with what I feel are the must-plays for your cash games (50/50, H2H, double ups) tonight on DraftKings. Due to positive feedback, I will be keeping the tournament pivots for the immediate future.

There is a lot of information out there to digest, which can make prioritizing great plays a difficult task (especially when news is constantly breaking!). I want to narrow down all of those great plays and hone in on exactly who I think your core should be. My goal with this article is to generally provide 3-5 plays that will be listed in order of importance. While some (or all) of the plays may seem obvious, we still want to make those plays and let our opponents be the ones to make the mistakes.  Not building around this core set of players, in my opinion, is a recipe for an unprofitable night.  Be sure to utilize all of RotoGrinders additional tools to put together the rest of the pieces to the puzzle, and your roster construction process for cash games should be much more simplified.

IMPORTANT: I will make every effort to update this article as news breaks throughout the day until approximately 30 minutes before rosters lock. So please check back often as I update my core plays. Remember, what may be a great play at 2:00 PM is not always a great play at 6:30 PM.
