Find Your Edge: Conference Championships - Stacking Shootouts

Director of Data and Analytics, Kevin Cole, returns with a look at how past DFS slates can yield valuable insights to roster construction, decision making, and winning strategies for the coming slate of games. This is a big deal. We’ve collected a massive amount of data on past DFS slates, and Kevin is going to help you “find the edge” buried deep within them.

Conference Championships

After a couple week hiatus with a focus on projecting every playoffs Showdown slate, we’re back to digging into the main slate of the week.

Only two games for the Conference Championship slate, and these are projected to be shootouts. The respective over-unders for Saints-Rams and Chiefs-Patriots are 56.5 and 55.5 points, respectively. That’s a total of 112 points, which trumps any two-game slate this year.

While none of the 2018 two-game slates equal the total points of Conference Championship weekend, there are some that come very close.
