Happy Post All-Star Break Friday! I hope you’ve enjoyed a few days of something different, I had some much needed downtime, but always ready to get back to it.
The majority of this article will not be posted until the usual time on Friday, but I wanted to get in early and post a few quick thoughts on the Friday slate for those of you looking to get a head start. I’ll add to this article throughout the day on Thursday, and then you can check back for the full analysis on Friday. Some of the pitchers I’ve mentioned here are not yet confirmed, so some of these comparisons and tentative rankings may change.
FRIDAY NIGHT PITCHING
HI HO BAUER – THE LONE RANGER-BEATING ACE
Trevor Bauer at Rangers – With Strasburg coming off the DL from a shoulder injury and a still limited Syndergaard in Yankee Stadium, Trevor Bauer is the lone DFS ace on the Friday slate, but we’re really being asked to pay for it.
