This weekend, we head to Pocono for The Great American Getaway 400. The race is Sunday at 2pm ET on Prime. Pocono has the nickname of “The Tricky Triangle,” and looking back at my results, I’ve had big days and I’ve gotten crushed at this track. The strategy is to nail 1 to 2 dominators and then get the place differential plays. Looking through the last 9 optimal lineups, only once was there more than 2 drivers starting inside the top 10, and it was the only race with 3 dominators. With the potential for strategy, lineup construction is everything for this weekend. I will be limiting my top 10 to a max of 2 drivers, and I’ll be using that group instead of making a dominator group. I’ll be using recent Pocono data, 2025 speed data, practice, and a few other things when building lineups this weekend. I’m weighing practice data a little more than usual this week, as raw speed tends to translate well at Pocono.
