This weekend, we head to Martinsville Speedway for the XFINITY 500. The race is Sunday at 2pm ET on NBC. Martinsville Speedway is a unique .526-mile short-flat track. This is the final race before the NASCAR Cup Series Championship. Tyler Reddick and Joey Logano are locked in. Christopher Bell +29 is in the best spot for getting in on points. Byron +7 and Larson -7 will race for points as well. Hamlin -18, Blaney -38, and Elliott -43 are in must-win spots this weekend. All 8 playoff drivers can win at Martinsville. We can look at short-flat track data from Richmond and Phoenix, but Martinsville history is usually the most useful data to look at. When building lineups this weekend, I’ll be looking at 2024 speed, recent Martinsville data, 2024 pit road data, practice, and a few other things. As I always say at Martinsville, roster construction is so important, and don’t discount the dominator plays with this many potential dominator points.

NASCAR DFS Picks: XFINITY 500

The stages are 130, 130, and 240, which is a total of 500 laps. With 500 laps, we’re looking at 50 laps completed points and 50 laps led points. On DraftKings, we’re looking at 225 fastest laps points and 125 laps led points. Even if we run close to 100 caution laps, we’re looking at close to 250 dominator points. It’s very rare to see a 1-dominator race here, and we typically see anywhere from 2 to 4 dominators. Place differential is important, but dominators are always more important on 500 lap races.
