This weekend, we head to Pocono Raceway for the CRC Brakleen 175. The race is Friday at 5:30pm ET on FS1. Practice and qualifying starts at 2pm ET, and we likely won’t have a starting lineup until 3:30pm-4pm ET. I will have projections and LineupHQ tags up by 4:30pm ET. Pocono is a unique 2.5-mile triangle that has 3 different turns. On top of 3 different turns, Pocono has flatter corners. With it being a 2.5-mile track, teams can short-pit the end of stages to gain track position. With potential strategy, crazy restarts, and drafting, Pocono can be wild. There have been 14 Truck races at Pocono since 2010, and only 4 of them have had more than 5 cautions. Last season was the first time in 14 races the race-winning driver started outside the top 10, and it was Kyle Busch. I’ll be using 2024 speed data, recent speed data, practice, recent Pocono data, and a few other things when building lineups this weekend.

The stages are 15, 15, and 40, which is a total of 70 laps. With 70 laps, we’re looking at a potential of 31.5 fastest laps and 17.5 laps led. We don’t typically see drivers score over 15 dominator points. Place differential is what we’re looking for at Pocono. In 2021, there were 3 drivers that started inside the top 10 in the optimal.
