This weekend, we head to Phoenix Raceway for the NASCAR Xfinity Series Championship Race. The race is Saturday night at 7:30pm ET on the CW. We have Connor Zilisch, Carson Kvapil, Jesse Love, and defending Champion Justin Allgaier battling for the Championship. Aric Almirola and Austin Hill are a part of the Owner’s Championship as well. Phoenix Raceway is a 1-mile oval and considered a short-flat track. I think Phoenix comps best with Richmond, but I also use New Hampshire. Teams ran this same tire combo at the race here in March and a Gateway earlier this season. The race winner has started inside the top 5 in 7 of the last 10 races here. Earlier this season, Aric Almirola won from the 8th starting position. I’ll be using recent Phoenix data, short-flat track data, 2025 speed, practice, and a few other things when building lineups this weekend. Qualifying is at 3:30pm ET on Saturday; I will have projections posted by 6pm ET.

NASCAR Xfinity Series DFS Picks: NASCAR Xfinity Series Championship Race

The stages are 45, 45, and 110, which is a total of 200 laps. With 200 laps, we’re looking at a potential of 90 fastest lap points and 50 laps led points. There have been at least 6 cautions for at least 43 laps in 9 of the last 10 races here. Even after the cautions, we’re looking at 120ish dominator points.
