WGC-HSBC Champions

Greetings, golf fans! For the third straight week, we have a no cut event in Asia with a 78 player field. This week’s tournament will be contested at Sheshan International Golf Club in China, the sixth year in a row that this event has been held at the current venue. Winning scores have been all over the map here, as wind/weather are somewhat unpredictable in China at this time of year. If conditions are prime, we could see a winning score around 20-under par. If conditions are more difficult, we might see it come in closer to 10-under par.

While we don’t have PGA Tour ShotLink data for this tournament, we do have five solid years of results to lean on, and we have a lot of comments from golfers on Tour. Almost everyone uniformly agrees that the rough is very penalizing at Sheshan, so you want players that can keep the ball in the fairway.
