A limited field of 72 golfers will head to Mexico City this week to battle with a tree-lined layout while 7,800 feet above sea level.

With four guaranteed rounds this week, Stars and Scrubs will become extremely popular. How low do we want to go, though? We still need to find golfers with top-15 upside, especially if we want to place highly in large-field GPPs. Here are nine of my favorite value plays to help with roster construction this week…

Tommy Fleetwood ($8200 DK / $10300 FD / $14900 FDRFT)

In this article, I generally try to keep the value plays below the average price of a golfer on each DFS site. Occasionally there are exceptions. Tommy Flushwood belongs in the top tier in any field but this week he’s priced among the more affordable, mid-sized sedans. If his raw talent wasn’t enough then consider his history here in two starts. He finished runner-up in his 2017 debut and posted a T14 last year. Four of his eight rounds have been recorded as 66s or 67s. We are getting a discount because he finished outside the top 25 in his last two starts. He gained 3.8 strokes on approach (in 2 measured rounds) in that first start and gained 3.5 strokes off-the-tee last week at Riv. What’s also nice is to see him gain 3.3 strokes around-the-green last week out of the kikuyu rough at Riv. He will face that same grass this week at Chapultepec.
