Props & Pick'Em Package: Use Our Expertise to Win More

Our Props & Pick’Em product has been all the rage lately, piling up winning picks and filling your homepage with a new look. But what is it? And why has it been so successful?

If this breakdown doesn’t convince you to get on board, at least you’ll have a better understanding of what you’re missing out on.

What’s This New Product All About?

The Props & Pick’Em package features expert sports betting analysis across all major sports. The content is a combination of player prop picks and fantasy pick’em plays from RotoGrinders analysts and the projections team.

Player prop betting has become increasingly popular, both due to the expanded legalization of sports betting and the rising popularity of fantasy pick’em sites like PrizePicks and Underdog Fantasy. Our expertise in the DFS space easily translates to sports betting, and many of our experts are also avid sports bettors. It made sense to direct their expertise toward the prop betting market.

DFS lineups are basically nine-leg player prop parlays, right? This is just another way to use our knowledge to create winning opportunities.

If you’ve been on the RotoGrinders homepage at all in the past month, you’ve likely seen the picks labeled as “Prop Model” in the Props & Pick’Em widget. If you’ve tailed any of those picks, you’re likely a couple bucks richer.

The Prop Model might be a well-oiled machine, but it is not a robot. Prop Model picks are derived from RotoGrinders Premium Projections and selected by our projections team. Basically, once Chris Gimino and the team generate our player projections for a slate, they head over to the player prop market and look for inefficiencies. Using a statistical threshold and their own situational knowledge, the team selects the best bets.

So while it’s fun to think about C-3PO grinding NHL blocked shot props, that’s not really the case. But yes, he deserves a raise.
