Trucks – Lucas Oil 150

Championship weekend is finally here! We get started with the Lucas Oil 150. The stages are 45-45-60, which is a total of 150 laps, and 112.5 potential dominator points. They can run 70 to 75 laps on fuel here, so we could see some strategy played if there is a comp caution announced or a caution in the first stage. The Trucks race at Phoenix once a year, and Toyota has won seven of the last nine races here. Over the last five races, there has been an average of 6.4 cautions for 37.4 laps. Losing about 19 dominator points, sets this up for a 1-2 dominator race with finishing position being very important. I’d expect the Championship 4 to be up front most of the race, and like I said on the preview show, I’d love to see Zane Smith or Moffitt win.
