WR vs. CB Matchup Analysis: Conference Championships
One of the keys to NFL DFS success is locating the highest upside at the wide receiver position. Which wideouts have the easiest matchups against the opposing secondaries? Which receivers will fly under the radar and make the difference in large-field tournaments? Each week this NFL season, ChrisGimino will explore his favorite WR plays on the slate, with the sort of insight and knowledge that only he can provide!

Michael Thomas, Ted Ginn and Saints Deep Attack vs. Rams
Marcus Peters has the capability to play well, but far too often in 2018 the Rams CB has allowed big plays to hurt him. Peters allowed 467 yards and 5 TDs in the regular season on passes that traveled 10 or more yards in the air. Michael Gallup rung his bell for over 100 yards last week, and he’ll have the unfortunate assignment of Michael Thomas more than his fair share this weekend. The Saints are #1 in pass success rate overall 20+ yards downfield, and the Rams were the stone worst defending at that distance in terms of success rate. I wouldn’t be stunned to see Thomas capture a pass or two downfield in the championship round. Of course, we don’t know for sure that the Rams will simply line up Thomas 1 on 1 with Peters and ask him to compete on an island. In fact, that is unlikely. That is where long-ball specialist Ted Ginn may come into play for your DFS lineup. Ginn can easily light up the box score in a hurry against a team that is vulnerable to deep passing, and playing in the friendly confines of the Superdome only enhances that potential. I like Ginn in DFS at his price, and suspect he may be landing on the winning rosters when it is all said and done.
