.25 cents into $50,000? Is this real life?

Hello Grinders,

CeeGee here, some of you know me from the chat as I’m on usually every night chatting it up with the fellow Grinders before during and after the “Grinders Live” shows… I’ve been playing DFS since the Middle of the NFL Season and starting getting serious about the NBA Games over the past few months. I’m a small stakes player so at this time I’m grinding away 50/50’s and H2H matchups each night while throwing my hat in the ring on the occasional GPP and Qualifier.

Most of my nights are spent scratching my head, trying to figure out “how so and so knew to play so and so” but recently, Thanks to my own research and even more research and knowledge gained from all the Grinders here, I’ve been having more success and was recently lucky enough to Finish in the Top 10 of the .25 cent Qualifier with this lineup a few days ago.

[PG] Randy Foye – 39.75
[SG] Courtney Lee – 27.25
[SF] Terrence Ross – 27.25
[PF] Kevin Love – 55
{C} Paul Millsap – 37.5
[G] Evan Fournier – 27.5
[F] Dirk Nowitzki – 47.25
UTIL Andrew Bogut – 55.75
323.25 total

This victory opened up the $11 qualifier for me, which I took a shot on last night… Wouldn’t you know it, I came in 1st out of 11 people with this lineup below :)

[PG] Nick Calathes – 24.25
[SG] Shaun Livingston – 45.5
[SF] Marvin Williams – 37.5
[PF] Joakim Noah – 13
{C} DeAndre Jordan – 45
[G] DeMar DeRozan – 37
[F] Blake Griffin – 59.25
UTIL Tim Duncan – 44.75
306.25 total

As you can see, I hit on 3 big value plays with Calathes, Livingston and Williams and my philosophy (which i stole from a fellow Grinder) “Pay for the Paint” paid off in a big way last night.

This win opens up the chance for me to compete in the $109 Qualifier to where the payouts are

1st – Fantasy Basketball Showcase Golden Ticket
2nd – 5th $270 Fantasy Basketball Showcase Qualifier
6th – 15th $109 Fantasy Basketball Showcase Qualifier
16th $30.00

The fact that I even have a chance to qualify for a Tourney that quite frankly I would never be apart of is very exciting. Since I just won my entry last night, I’m not able to participate this Wednesday in the $109 qualifier, so, Looking ahead at the Schedule its looking like this Saturday night, Feb 8th will be my shot to qualify for the big $300,000 tourney

Wish Me luck :)
