BLAST Premier Fall Series 2020 – Summary and Plays for 10/29/2020
Hello fellow CSGO Grinders!
My name is Adam Kohn and I am here to help you all crush CSGO DFS!
This blog series will be featuring the current BLAST Premier Fall Series 2020 event that is going on in the world of Counter Strike: Global Offensive (CSGO). I am going to be bringing you slate by slate breakdowns, or, a summary of the slate with my thoughts and a breakdown of my Core, Salary Relief, GPP plays, and Favorite Stacks (if any) for each day’s main slate matches. If you have questions for any other CSGO slates, I am available in the RG CSGO Discord chat and feel free to ask them in there. There is a fantastic group of folks in there and we all help each other out breaking down both slates and plays, giving opinions, etc.
All stats will be over the last 3 months of play against all rankings, unless otherwise noted. Some terminology for those who may not be familiar are K-D Differential or K/D Ratio (Kill to Death Differential or Kill to Death Ratio), ADR (Average Damage per Round), KPR (Kills Per Round), and +/- (Positive or Negative K/D Ratio or Differential). The pricing listed next to each player’s name is the Draftkings FLEX pricing for this slate. The advice given in this article is based on my experience of playing CSGO DFS as well as watching many of the games.
Now that all of that is out of the way, let’s get into the summaries and plays!!!
Welcome to the start of Group B for the BLAST Premier Fall Series 2020! The 1st of the 2 matches on this slate features Team Vitality versus the new looking Complexity. I would make sure to have a good amount of exposure to ZywOo on this slate. Play ZywOo, either solo, or stack ZywOo with either shox, Nivera (only if he plays), apEX, and/or RpK, and that is the order in which I would rank the other players to stack with ZywOo. We don’t know how Team Vitality are actually going to use their new 6 man rotation, so just be careful on exposures to anyone besides ZywOo and shox, and maybe apEX since he is the IGL (In Game Leader). I am once again fading misutaaa. The new looking Complexity is going to, on paper, look way better than before. jks is a massive upgrade over oBo in my opinion, oBo is a good to great player, but jks is just on another level almost to, if not in, the elite tier of players. This game all depends how well jks does with his new team. If jks gels well with this team, they should beat Team Vitality, if not, then Team Vitality should be able to exploit Complexity just because they are trying to get a new team synergy together with jks on the roster. I think blameF is the biggest leverage off ZywOo on this slate, and he is a core play for me on this slate. I would rank the rest of Complexity, jks, k0nfig, poizon. I’m fading RUSH.
The final game of this 2 game slate features BIG versus FaZe Clan. This is FaZe Clan’s first game without NiKo, as he was signed by G2, so this should be a quick 2-0 victory for BIG. For BIG, all 5 are in play, but play tiziaN and k1to only in small exposure amounts, like maybe 15-25% each. With no NiKo, there is a chance tiziaN and/or k1to could do well in versus this new looking FaZe roster. I would prioritize syrsoN and XANTARES from BIG. For the new looking FaZe Clan, I would play coldzera, broky, Kjaerbye, and rain. olofmeister has been off for months now so I don’t know how is going to do, coming off that extended break. olof is also only standing in, and is not a full time member of this roster. FaZe stacks would make for excellent GPP stacks.
blameF ($8,600) – I am taking a stand on this slate and going overweight on blameF.
syrsoN ($7,800) – Too cheap for syrsoN in this matchup.
coldzera ($5,800) – coldzera should be the new default #1 for FaZe with NiKo no longer on the team. This is way to cheap for him.
k0nfig ($6,400) – Nice price for someone who Complexity may have to rely on if jks is struggling.
jks ($7,200) – If he is his normal great self, he should crush this price tag and could be a difference maker on this slate.
Nivera ($8,400) – If Nivera is in the starting lineup, then he should be able to do really well in this matchup.
