BLAST Premier Fall Series 2020 – Summary and Plays for 10/30/2020

Hello fellow CSGO Grinders!

My name is Adam Kohn and I am here to help you all crush CSGO DFS!

This blog series will be featuring the current BLAST Premier Fall Series 2020 event that is going on in the world of Counter Strike: Global Offensive (CSGO). I am going to be bringing you slate by slate breakdowns, or, a summary of the slate with my thoughts and a breakdown of my Core, Salary Relief, GPP plays, and Favorite Stacks (if any) for each day’s main slate matches. If you have questions for any other CSGO slates, I am available in the RG CSGO Discord chat and feel free to ask them in there. There is a fantastic group of folks in there and we all help each other out breaking down both slates and plays, giving opinions, etc.

All stats will be over the last 3 months of play against all rankings, unless otherwise noted. Some terminology for those who may not be familiar are K-D Differential or K/D Ratio (Kill to Death Differential or Kill to Death Ratio), ADR (Average Damage per Round), KPR (Kills Per Round), and +/- (Positive or Negative K/D Ratio or Differential). The pricing listed next to each player’s name is the Draftkings FLEX pricing for this slate. The advice given in this article is based on my experience of playing CSGO DFS as well as watching many of the games.

Now that all of that is out of the way, let’s get into the summaries and plays!!!

Main Slate Summary

I’ll start off by saying that the pricing on this slate is very tough. The 1st of the 2 matches on this slate features Team Vitality versus BIG. Due to pricing, it is going to be difficult to play ZywOo and any of the Complexity top 4. I actually think, mainly due to pricing, shox is the better play. I wouldn’t mind having more exposure to shox than normal and less of ZywOo. I’m not saying fade ZywOo, but I would try to go a little less than normal, unless you want to fade most of the Complexity guys that are priced up. I would rank the others as: misutaaa >RpK > apEX >> Nivera. For BIG, I would only target the main 2 from this team of syrsoN and XANTARES. I am fading the other 3 due to recent performance and this matchup.

The final game of this 2 game slate features FaZe Clan versus Complexity. Complexity should role FaZe in this game, but as we saw with FaZe versus BIG yesterday, this FaZe team is still really good without NiKo. olofmeister isn’t in the player pool, which is a shame, because I wanted to play him on this slate. I would prioritize coldzera, then broky, then rain, then finally Kjaerbye. For Complexity, this is where pricing gets very tricky. It is very tough to play a lineup with 3 Complexity players in it. blameF is once again a core play for me on this slate, however I don’t feel as strongly about him as I did yesterday as a core play. I would say jks for me is 2nd, but k0nfig is someone who I want a lot of exposure to. He looked like he was playing freer than before, which could allow him to take his game to the next level. poizon I want exposure to as well. RUSH had a ceiling game, and could do decently in this game, but I wouldn’t go over 25% max.

Core Plays
blameF ($9,000) – He should crush FaZe in this game.

Salary Relief
coldzera ($5,800) – coldzera played really well versus BIG yesterday, so I’m going right back to the well on this slate.
misutaaa ($6,200) – misutaaa has been playing like he doesn’t want to lose his spot on the main 5 man roster to Nivera. Where we need salary relief on this slate, combined with his recent good gameplay, he should be low owned, so I think we can get some leverage on the fields in GPP’s if he does good in this game.

GPP Plays
jks ($8,600) – He looked good in his debut with Complexity. I’m going right back to the well.
k0nfig ($8,000) – As I mentioned above, he looks freer and played really good versus Team Vitality yesterday.

Favorite Stacks
