Pitcher Ballpark Shifts
I will list some pitchers that will going from his home park to an extreme park. I will list both beneficial and negative shifts for pitchers.
Chris Young
Kaufmann Stadium does a good job of keeping balls in the park, which is where Chris Young has been producing at. Today he will be in Yankee Stadium where the ball flys out of right field. I expect some yankees to get ahold of a few.
Rick Porcello
Porcello will be traveling from Fenway Park to the spacious park in Minnesota. Porcello just received a huge contract from the Red Sox and that money ist to be an average pitcher. I expect a good start from porcello and a good season.
Favorite 3 Pitchers
Gerrit Cole
Gerrit Cole will be facing the Marlins with a lineup consisting of Dee gordon, Giancarlo Stanton, uhhhh… ummm…., ya exactly. Stanton is the one guy who really scares me. The reason im not worried about it is Stanton’s biggest weakness is a slider vs a righty. Cole has a great slider and I expect him to actually strikeout out Stanton a few times.
Noah Syndergaard
The Phillies are very bad vs righties, and Syndergaard is a very good young pitcher. Syndergaard has a good floor tommord and can see this being his first huge game of his career.
Ubaldo Jimenez
Jimenez will be pitching against the astros tommorow. They will inflate his strikeout rate and his homerun rate. I see Ubaldo giving up 1 or 2 HRs and stil striking out enough guys to have a good outing.
Notable BvP
Hitter | Pitcher | At Bats | Hits | EBH | HR |
---|---|---|---|---|---|
Joey Votto | Kyle Kendrick | 15 | 6 | 2 | 1 |
Jay Bruce | Kyle Kendrick | 17 | 6 | 1 | 2 |
Brian Dozier | Rick Porcello | 24 | 7 | 0 | 3 |
David Ortiz | Phil Hughes | 29 | 10 | 3 | 2 |
Dustin Pedroia | Phil Hughes | 35 | 11 | 3 | 3 |
Mike Napoli | Phil Hughes | 15 | 6 | 0 | 2 |
A.J Pierzynski | Zack Greinke | 52 | 21 | 3 | 3 |
Top 3 Favorite Stacks
Mets
Mets will be able to tee off on Sean O’Sullivan today. Granderson, Duda, and Murphy are some of my favorite plays of the slate and I expect a very nice outing of the Mets today.
Brewers
The brewers will face Ryan Vogelson in Miller Park. Vogelsong is AMAZING at giving up Home Runs. Its probably his best skill. The guys in the lineup like Ryan Braun, Carlos Gomez, Khris Davis, Gerardo parra, Adam Lind are some of my favorite plays of the day.
Reds
Kyle Kendrick will pitch against the Reds tommorow. Kendrck is bad vs everyone, and the reds have players with speed, power and the combo of both. I have no problem with rostering any Reds batter in the top 7 of the lineup.
2 To Dong
Lucas Duda
Duda will be stepping up to the plate with Sean O’Sullivan attempting to get him out. I dont think that will fare well for O’Sullivan. Duda is my number 1 pick for a Home Run.
Jay Bruce
Jay Bruce is going to have a great chance for a homer today. Kendrick leaves plenty of pitches over the plate, and Bruce is a guy that can take advantage of that.
Stolen Base Predictor
I will choose 2 guys I think have a great oppurtunity at a stolen base.
Brett Gardner
Chris Young has trouble holding players on 1st and I expect Gardner to take advantage of that if he can get on 1st.
Billy hamilton
Hamilton will be hitting against Kyle Kendrick. if he can get on base, I fully expect him to easily steal 2nd. Once het gets on 2nd, I expect him to get knocked in.
