Contrarian Corner July 29th
Welcome to the Contrarian Corner. This blog will be about doing things a little differently than what most of the Rotogrinders team recommends. Anyone can look at team totals and decide to stack the team with the highest total. What I attempt to do is stack teams that will be low owned and are in great spots, despite what the Vegas team total might be. This strategy has a high level of variance. I am not aiming to cash for the minimum, I am trying to win GPP’s.
Yesterday, I gave out the Mets and Rays and both were pretty good, but could have been better. Tonight we have a small slate of only seven games. Considering Coors is on this slate and the Angels have a massive team
Total there are not that many options tonight to be contrarian. This feels like a great night to fade Coors as both pitchers have done well there. That leaves us with one contrarian team
To stack up tonight.
The Pirates remain completely done for the season. They have lost eight in a row and Jordan Lyles is terrible. What does Josh VanMeter have to do to get a massive price bump? He should be in the $4k’s but remains under that mark. I’ll say old man Joey Votto actually hits one out tonight. I’m betting the Reds and stacking them.
This is my plan as this morning. I’m Milo741 on all the DFS sites. Follow along on twitter @wintheweekend, as I will post my bets as well. Good luck everyone.
