EPL - Feb 13 - SCA Matrix
The SCA (Shot Creating Actions) Metric – It is one of the best determinants of how a team operates and succeeds. This metric allows you to identify the potential attacking opportunities of an individual team against their direct opponent. In other words, it signals which team will have the greater advantage on the field.
Saturday, February 13 – EPL Breakdown
An interesting slate at hand. I think Manchester City is going to have a big day today as Tottenham is almost on life support. No attack from the latter lately and against City you will not get many chances. They did beat them in the first tie earlier in the season but things have largely changed. Even with Bruyne out, City are still dominating opponents. On the other hand, Tottenham is struggling to get a win, and their DFS production as a result is abysmal. Full fade for me on the Tottenham side with the lowest SCA on the slate. If you can target at least two City players you should be in good shape. You will want exposure in some way here. even though some of these City plays are overpriced. The SCA metric is quite drastic when compared to that of their opponent, and it leads the slate.
.The early game to me is most interesting in securing a few pieces, and perhaps some cheaper punts. Both teams will get an improved attacking edge, which can only result in both sides seeing chances. I like the set-takers here, whether it be McNeil or Westwood for Burnley, or Eze or Townsend for Palace. And there’s a cheap Burnley forward that can be used to fit higher priced guys in such as those from City. One of the goalies also interest me for this game especially Pope.
Lastly, it is tough to make out the last game. Brighton is solid defensively pushing down Villa’s SCA metric by five full points. Proceed with caution here but the main plays should be reasonable such as Grealish and Gross. I don’t mind Watkins for GPP either given his consecutive 4+ shot performances lately.
