EPL - SCA Matrix - April 3
The SCA (Shot Creating Actions) Metric – It is one of the best determinants of how a team operates and succeeds. This metric allows you to identify the potential attacking opportunities of an individual team against their direct opponent. In other words, it signals which team will have the greater advantage on the field.
This will be an evenly balanced slate. A return from international break can make you forget how these teams were performing previously but the SCA metric should put you back on the right track. Leverkusen faces the worst team in this league and are expected to crush from a fantasy perspective. With a slate leading 25 SCA total, you will want some exposure here. Keep an eye out for lineups as set takers vary from Bailey to Demirbay to Amiri to Gray. Wolfsburg makes the most sense to stack GK + DEF as they should pull off the win and probably have the highest clean sheet percentage. Weghorst makes for a top GPP pick. Those are two teams I will focus on first.
Frankfurt is no slouch so I have less interest in Dortmund this weekend. The question is whether to play Kostic in a tougher game set. The thing is he is probably the best cash play on the slate regardless of that fact. His peripheral play earns him that right. Hoffenheim is somewhat interesting but they are a team that is on and off, week in and week out. Kramaric started off the season hot, but eventually that flame blew out. He still is a strong GPP play though. The value will surely pop up this slate so it is time to refresh your memory on Bundesliga stats. This should be a fun one!
Some heavy hitting teams on the slate. However, probably the best team to target will be Leeds. They actually have the highest SCA metric on the slate, ahead of teams like Liverpool and Manchester City. Look at Raphinha to be popular but they are filled with many GPP fliers. Clearly Bruyne will also be popular – he rested the last game of the international break so expect a 90 minute performance from him here. And I have no interest in the late game but there is always interest in the Liverpool wing-backs. This will be my approach to this EPL slate.
Happy trails and good luck!
