Happy Tuesday, Grinders! For the last time, I will deliver results from a Sunday of football. Prior to unveiling the leaderboard and our final T-shirt winner, I want to express my gratitude for all of the participation and support throughout the NFL season. In 2018, the Home Run Derby gained enough momentum to allow me to continue with Finding Paydirt. The articles are a ton of fun to research and write but I mostly enjoy the interaction with members of the RotoGrinders community. I am happy to announce that Home Run Derby will be back for the baseball season and I look forward to another season of fun with RotoGrinders members.
The final DraftKings main slate brought a pile of touchdowns for our consumption. Since every NFL team except the Colts and Titans played, we witnessed 64 touchdowns by the RB, WR, and TE positions. George Kittle is pictured above because (a) I love him and (b) his late touchdown made many of our contestants happy. With the touchdown, Kittle brought me my first three-touchdown week of the season but also devastated my cash game lineup. Oh well. At least I was able to finish in… third place for the month. Who won? Our final leaderboard is posted below.

I truly thought SportsLover37 had it, but alas her and dhul will have to settle for a second-place tie in our final contest of the 2018 season. Instead, erichanlon closed out another contest period with a RotoGrinders T-shirt for a prize. His three-touchdown performance inched erichanlon just past SportsLover37 and dhul with 11 total touchdowns for the month. Congratulations erichanlon on winning additional RG swag as you build up your 2019 wardrobe.
Since the contest is over and the regular season is over I am going to pass on the takeaways and just leave you with a final thank you and goodbye. I enjoyed this season and hope to continue developing my rapport with the RotoGrinders community in 2019. Keep an eye out for the intermittent blog when time allows but definitely come back for my Home Run Derby article in the Spring. Thanks so much for reading.
