I'm Just Like You
My original plan for DFS, just like everybody else, was to quickly win a ton of money and pay for my college education. It’s now my sophomore year and I have a negative ROI. Now that was largely because of my misguided ego towards knowing my sport. I love the game of baseball, I live, eat, and breathe baseball. So naturally I started playing baseball DFS which most of us can agree is all over the place when it comes to consistency. So I would play with this misguided egotistical approach of “I got this”. Boy was I wrong, but I’m one of those guys that if I believe their is a solution to a problem I work intensely to find it. I kind of found it in baseball though you can never really tell. Football and basketball have been harder to figure out because I’m not as intensely focused on those two sports. However, lately I sort of figured out a process for the NBA and I’m still working on the football side of things. I am a college student in Corvallis, Oregon planning on going to Oregon State. My hope one day is to be a GM in baseball but just working for an organization in sports would be a blessing. In the mean time I pay DFS very nearly everyday, it’s my secret pleasure my parents (or most of my family) would not approve of. I guess the purpose of this article is to say I’m just a regular guy who loves to play DFS. I put in as much research as my schedule (and girlfriend) will allow. But other than that I don’t do anything special. Realistically the reason I wrote this because I want to meet people that also do this. Sometimes it feels like you’re flying solo but your not. I can’t wait to meet some of you that also love to do this thing. I plan on sharing my lineups for days that I play with my reasons on why I did what I did. Thank you for reading this, please comment, I’d like to get to know some other people who do the same things I do.
