Interleague - Feb 5 - SCA Matrix
The SCA (Shot Creating Actions) Metric – It is one of the best determinants of how a team operates and succeeds. This metric allows you to identify the potential attacking opportunities of an individual team against their direct opponent. In other words, it signals which team will have the greater advantage on the field.
Friday, February 5 – Interleague Breakdown
A very nifty slate we got ourselves in store for Friday. Unfortunately for the EFL Championship game there were no SCA stats which has resulted me in using the next best thing – shots per 90. It’s a battle of two top teams with not much edge given for either side. Norwich may seem the more attacking leaning side with Swansea a more cautious team going forward. We have some interesting set takers as well in Hourihane for the Swans and either Plachetta or Buendia for Norwich. I like this game the best for DFS points. Sprinkle them in.
Moving on to the Serie A game, Inter holds the best SCA per 90 mark of the slate. Also, they are +6 in that metric versus their opponent. I doubt Eriksen starts so Brozovic should be your set taker. Not the greatest play but then again, set piece takers are usually king in the DFS landscape. Regardless, you probably want some exposure here. Expect the two Inter strikers to be scattered all over people’s lineups tomorrow, one or the other.
As for the La Liga match, it might just be a snooze fest. However, given that both teams are pretty evenly matched, you would hope you could grab some value from these teams. Michel, Mesa, or Hervias would probably take a role on sets for Valladolid while Duarte has recently been taking them for Alaves.
