NBA Projections 3.17.14

Happy Monday Grinders! Many of you have been messaging me and I just wanted to announce that I do not do my blog on Fridays and Saturdays due to that fact that I am typically out of town. Maybe on some special occasions I will, but typically I choose not to so that I can focus my attention on the friends or family that I am visiting. I do typically do them on Sundays but yesterday was an exception to ol’ Saint Patrick getting the best of me Saturday!

Anyways, I just want to get that out there. Now lets move on to this 7 game slate.

Quick Review:

  • Needs = What fantasy total they need to meet value.
  • Projection = How many fantasy points my spreadsheet projects them to finish with.
  • Difference = The difference in their projected total and what they need to reach value.
  • Score = Their projection with salary factored in. a “bang for your buck” type statistic.
  • P= Probable; Q = Questionable; O=Out;

Top Plays

  • Blake Griffin – The Redhot RedHead going against Denver’s miserable interior? ANd he has dominated them for almost a million fppg so far this season? Yeah I’ll take him. If he isn’t 90+% owned tonight I will be shocked. I also LOVE tagging Chris Paul along with Griffin on given nights due to both of them having the chance to go 50+. Good GPP tag-team.
  • James Harden – Harden should have no problem dominating a very weak SG defense in Utah tonight. Just like Griffin, he has really dominated the opponent he will be facing recently. The Rockets are going to really want this win and he will have something to do with it. I don’t hate Dwight Howard either after he put up a recent stinker.
  • Al Jefferson – Facing Atlanta’s struggling and injury-ridden interior tonight. He has been an absolute force in recent times and I do not think he will be stopped by anyone Atlanta puts in front of him.
  • Paul George – He should absolutely POUND the Sixers in submission. Especially with how well he has played as of late.

Mid-Tier and Value Plays

  • Josh McRoberts – to go alongside Jefferson, Josh McRoberts could have a big night tonight againsth the Hawks. He has huge upside and should get plenty of minutes in what should be a relatively close game for 48 minutes.
  • Jimmy Butler – You know he will get the minutes and no way he puts up another dud – its not in his blood.
  • Kris Humphries or JAred Sullinger – Both had good games last night and will not face a below average PF defense in Dallas. Just like McRoberts – Both have good upside and can be tagged alongside Griffin for value.
  • George Hill – Could really benefit you if Watson gets declared out. Hill would see MAJOR minutes with MCW guarding him.
  • Tony Wroten – With James Anderson doubtful, he will get plenty of minutes even in the case of a blow out. He will most likely be guarded by the infamous Lance Stephenson but the upside is there.

Good Luck Tonight!

You have Westbrook out today? He sat yesterday against Dallas. Shouldn’t he play today?

Phatjer – I do like Jordan but there are a lot of good centers to play tonight.

Bdenn – actually I don’t have Westbrook as out. That’s a zero and I don’t know why it’s there. Haha

Ckuschel – what has you on the Hickson train tonight?
