Painting the Chalk Line Tennis Feb 5

Hello and welcome to a great Tuesday slate featuring 13 matches to be played. I would love to hear how you make your line ups in the comments section and your favourite upset of the slate.

My process is as following

1. Start at 8300 salary and go down study each match up and find my value players essentially “the chalk”
2. After finding my salary relief could be 1 player or multiple I start at the top analyzing the most expensive players
3. I like to give grades on each players trying to narrow down which ones I think will win in straight sets
4. After finalizing my team with my research I try to stay as updated I can on the twitters page staying aware incase a player withdraws and a lucky loser takes there place giving other player a huge advantage

Anyway lets get to that chalk!

ELO meaning and ratings

Twitter pages for the tournament

My Projected High Ownership under 8.4k

Berrettini 8.3k vs Istomin

ELO: 35
H2H: 0-0
Odds: 1.50

Istomin comes in as the more experienced tennis player in todays match, but I believe Berrettini is the better server and player. Istomin has had only one win before this tournament, and in last week in the Davis Cup he played three matches and did not win a set. Seems like a slam dunk for Berrettini to take this match down.

My Projected Mid Level Ownership under 8.4k

Cueva 7.9k vs Bagnis

ELO: 119
H2H: 5-0
Odds: 1.62

Cuevas come into today match after two good wins in the qualifying rounds against Arevalo and Coria. Cuevas is playing hot right now and should carry the momentum into todays match. Also that 5-0 H2H is worth noting some players just have other players number in the tennis world.

Ramos 7.7k vs Garin

ELO: (-40)
H2H: 1-0
Odds: 1.67

Ramos is a great player who is always tough to beat on this surface and the salary you get at these odds its hard not to pass up. I won’t be personally playing him because I think Garin is very talented and this match could go either way.

Favourite Upsets of the slate
1. Kudla
2. Troicki
3. Donskoy

A little tip at the end for you degenerates go to the single entry tournaments and look at Shark line ups and try to learn why they made it that way its always a great understanding to know why the same players keep winning.

In no order players line ups to study i’m sure i’m missing a ton of sharks but here are some ones to look at to start with.
1. Clivebixby
2. H3Budda
3. Brununo
4. Emileheskey

Thank you for reading, as always I am up for suggestion to improve to my articles.

Actually surprised there aren’t more comments here. DK Tennis is very winnable (vs NBA, NFL, etc) with minor knowledge of players and vegas lines. These articles are gold and short of the majors, there is very little so this one is welcome reading content. Keep it up Cal.
