Stud Analysis on FD
Edit 4-7-18 @ 10:55AM
Anthony Davis $12.8K
Not the best match up vs a Warriors team that is pretty good defensively and doesn’t give up much vs the C position. Granted it is Davis, and most will say he’s match up proof. This is also a B2B and 3-in-4 for Davis. His B2B numbers this season aren’t spectacular, and while he has put up 90+ in two of his B2B’s. They came in cake match ups vs PHO and BKN. Taking all that into consideration and noting that his
price is 1,400 more on FD. I’m leaning fade. However, the Pelicans need to win and it is Anthony Davis. So no one can fault you if you play him.
Russell Westbrook $12.2K
In their last 6 meetings, RWB has had the best of Harden, from a fantasy point perspective. Outscoring the ‘Bearded One’ in 4 of those 6 match ups. What’s important, however, is that all 4 of those games were last year before CP3 joined the Rockets. RWB’s numbers vs CP3 aren’t great, and I’m also considering the fade here. But like the Pelicans, the Thunder need to win tonight. That might be reason enough to play him as he could show up.
Giannis AFngerkanefkal $11.6K
Kevin Durant $11.2K
We all know by now that Durant gets a nice bump without Curry, but he’s only had one good game against the Pelicans since last season. In the one game they played since last season where Curry was out, Durant only had 36 FD points. I’m predicting he’ll be the most overlooked stud on the slate, but that’s not reason enough to play him, especially when the Warriors can’t move up in the standings.
James Harden $11.0K
How hard are they going to push Harden with nothing to play for? I don’t hate the play since he did flash 70 point upside this season against the Thunder. If we get news that the Rockets are going to let Harden play his normal minutes, then I might be more interested.
Damian Lillard $9.6K
Dame is coming off a rest game due to a sprained left ankle. Not worried about a late scratch as they already said he’s playing. But a sprained ankle could be a factor and it’s not the greatest match up against Murray who ranks 1st in DRPM among PGs this season.
Lamarcus Aldridge $9.5K
Man, this is a tough one. The Spurs need to win. Aldridge is going to get a ton of minutes and is playing awesome right now. Scoring over 50 FD points in 6 of his last 10 games. You would think with that consistency, he’d be over $10K, so it’s almost like FD is tempting us to play him at that price. Now part of the lower price could be because the match up sucks.
Giannis is now not playing. Which makes Middleton a lock for me. Since I need 2 SG’s on FD, and it’s probably going to be Middleton/Dotson or Middleton/Lee, that’s going to lower Harden on the rankings list.
