TBadger's College Basketball Betting Extravaganza 12/7 (Pre)

Hello, my name is Justin aka TBadger. I am a high school math teacher from the great state of Wisconsin. I love to use my background in mathematics to find statistical advantages in both DFS and Sports Betting. In this article, TBadger’s College Basketball Betting Extravaganza, I will be using my projections model to bet every CBB money line for the rest of the season. This model was produced in 2017 and has been updated the past few years now. It allowed me to have great success in winning my March Madness brackets, and now I want to find its success in the sports betting world. Tag along as I ride the highs and lows of this college basketball season.

Last year I started this betting extravaganza article to help me keep track of the bets that I was making using my model that I created in 2017. With much more knowledge of building analytical models, I want to create a brand new model to predict outcomes of any and all college basketball games. The problem? With such little data being accumulated this season, I cannot dive into this project quite yet. With my old model, I have a few seasons of data to work with. However, I am completely changing the game on this project and cannot use the past seasons results. Therefore, I am in the waiting process of collecting more game results before I begin.

With that being said, I am going to be using previous years model to bet on college basketball games until I begin work on my new model. NOTE: With so little games played, team stats are going to fluctuate a lot, which in turn will give us unlikely results at times.

Current Record: 0-0 Units: +0.00

Today we have 18 games on tap for Men’s college basketball. However, I am going to be inputting into my model games in which both teams have played at least 2 games against other Division I opponents. This leaves us with 9 games for tonight.
NOTE: I am betting 1 unit on every money line. 1 unit = $20 for me.

Team 1 Team 2 Moneyline
Fairfield Hartford Hartford -170
George Washington UMBC GW +115
UNC Wilmington ECU ECU -385
SC State Charlotte Charlotte -4737
Chattanooga Middle Tenn. State MTSU -130
FAU North Florida UNF +197
Morehead State Eastern Kentucky EKU -625

My 50 Cents

Because tonight there are only 9 games, I will list my favorite underdog pick, as well as my favorite parlay for tonight.

If you enjoy the article please leave it a thumbs up and let me know in the comments if you are using any of tonight’s picks!
