The 7/3 Daily Fantasy Round-Up
Last night was rough folks.
Last night was the daily fantasy equivalent to the morning after polishing off a bottle of Jame-o. Lots of pretty girls at the bar, and you ended up home alone, with no money left in your pocket. It was an exciting night for baseball, but not for my teams.
Jonathan Papelbon is trying to start an East Coast-West Coast-esque blood feud by basically saying Puig is a flash in the pan and doesn’t deserve to be in the All Star Game. My inside sources told me that Puig immediately circled August 16th to 18th on his calendar and named those days “El Gringo Loco comes to Visit and Prays He Doesn’t Have to Face Me” Weekend.
On to the Round-Up!
The Strong Arm
Chien-Ming Wang – LOLz Rick Roll’d Ya.
Homer Bailey – One walk versus the Giants while scattering 0 hits over nine innings. Major props to Joey Votto when he made the throw to get Blanco out at 3rd in the 7th inning. If he had gone to first to Bailey, Posey makes it a close play and possibly beats it out for a hit. Bailey with his second career no-no.
The Big Wood
Kendrys Morales – Kendrys made us all realize we picked the wrong team to stack down in Texas last night. He went DOUBLEDONG with 6 RBIs. Anyone else totally annoyed that the Astros and Mariners both average around 3 runs per game, but decide to score all 9 of them in one game of each series?
Other Notables
Desmond Jennings had a great night as did David Price in his return from the DL. Side note: How annoying is FanDuel scoring if you picked Homer last night? He scored exactly 1 more point than David Price who gave up three hits in 7 IP and only K’d one more batter than Homer. What’s up with that?

AJ Griffin screwed me over last night. I was not happy about it.
