The Post-Analysis Detour: 8/13 NBA FanDuel
I played yesterday with only two lineups fortunately and had an ROI of -100%.
I had gone with Austin Rivers instead and he was the person with the most minutes off of the bench with 31 minutes followed by Jeff Green with 30. Neither one of them did much with roughly 21 FPTS. If Houston needs that much from Harden and still can’t win, well then there is a problem.
Other than that I had played Embiid and Adebayo and neither one of those plays worked out. I’m going to have to see what exactly happened. The best plays I had were Dragic, Harris and Leonard. Hollis-Jefferson turned out to be a good value play but I missed the boat some on Terrence Davis and Chris Paul if I’m honest.
Looking to today, and starting with PHO-DAL, I think these teams look good and if Luka Doncic is any ball hog like Harden, well then I need to roster him. Devin Booker is probably a no brained by now. Mikal Bridges should get in as a value play if Cameron Johnson is out.
Milwaukee is sitting some starters and with a close spread I’m going towards Ja Morant as a lock and for salary savings Dillon Brooks. With Jordan Clarson starting, I will have to take a crack at that. Mitchell might look good too but there are a lot of options at SG, so much I’m not sure how I play Doncic.
Even another one to consider is LeVert. If Jarrett Allen is still a discount at center I might go to him. Lillard is an exciting option at PG and probably my one spend up. Anthony could give me some savings at SF. I don’t like the NO-ORL game except for Vucevic.
