UCL - Feb 17 - SCA Matrix
The SCA (Shot Creating Actions) Metric – It is one of the best determinants of how a team operates and succeeds. This metric allows you to identify the potential attacking opportunities of an individual team against their direct opponent. In other words, it signals which team will have the greater advantage on the field.
Wednesday, February 17 – UCL Breakdown
It is pretty obvious who the target is on this slate – Ronaldo and company. Juventus has the biggest advantage over their opponent from an SCA standpoint but that doesn’t mean you can’t turn to Porto. Marchesin should face the most shots out of every keeper this slate, so expect him to pay off his price tag on saves alone, even if they lose this game. Ronaldo will take over five shots, perhaps one will go in. As for the rest, it will all depend on lineups. Chiesa has taken some set pieces recently, Bernardeschi is another candidate.
As for the other match, expect an even affair and probably a quiet one. It is in my view that both teams won’t risk anything here, and instead open up more in the second leg. I will be curious to see if Papu Gomez gets the starting nod, as if he does, he becomes one of the top plays of the slate at the midfield position. Then we take a stab at some GPP picks all over this game.
The analysis of the slate is pretty straight forward; however, the selection after Ronaldo isn’t as much. Take some risks, there will be many under owned plays that could break the slate. Have fun and SCA on!
