This weekend we head to Brooklyn, Michigan for a NASCAR Cup Series double header. We have a race on Saturday, and the same cars will race again on Sunday. We will be able to learn a lot from the Saturday race, so I’m really pumped about the Sunday afternoon race. Content is going to come out as fast as I can get it done this weekend but should have all the content for each race on the morning of the races. Michigan is a 2-mile D-Shaped oval that really only comps to Auto Club, but more of a standalone track because of the tire wear at Auto Club. The new package really changed this track last season, so I’ll be focusing on current speed, the two races last year, 2020 speed, and some other 2020 stats this weekend. The stages are 40-45-71, which is a total of 156 laps. We have a competition caution on lap 15, and the fuel window is 47-51 laps, so I don’t expect a ton of cars in the top 15 to pit at the competition caution.
