NASCAR Trucks - Pinty's Truck Race on Dirt

Stevie gives an in-depth look on the Truck race for the weekend. This article will be posted after qualifying each weekend.

Bucked Up 200

After a week off, the Trucks head to Las Vegas for the Bucked Up 200 at Las Vegas Motor Speedway. Las Vegas is a steep track like Homestead-Miami but doesn’t have the same tire wear. We don’t have a lot of great comps for Las Vegas in the Truck Series. Luckily, they run here twice a season. The Trucks are using the same tire setup from Las Vegas, Texas, and Kansas, all considered low tire wear tracks. The trucks have been running at Las Vegas since 1996 and started running it twice a year in 2018. Kyle Busch has won three straight Spring races at this track, and Toyota has won six of the last seven. Over the last ten races here, they’re averaging 5.1 cautions for 25.1 laps. There have been at least 25 laps for cautions in six of the last seven races here.
