NASCAR XFINITY - Andy's Custard 335

Stevie gives an in-depth look on the XFINITY race for the weekend. This article will be posted after qualifying each weekend.

Andy’s Custard 335

This weekend we head to Texas for the Andy’s Custard 335. This is the first race of the round of eight for the playoffs. Without practice and qualifying, it’s been a long season, but at least at this point in the season, we have a lot of data to look at. Texas is often compared to Charlotte and Atlanta because all three tracks are almost identical in shape and size. The tire setup this weekend is the same tire setup they’ve run at Texas, Las Vegas, and Michigan. The stages are 45, 45, and 110, which is a total of 200 laps. There is a competition caution on lap 20, and the fuel window is 58 to 62 laps. I don’t think we see a lot of cars pit at the competition caution, unless they’re running outside the top 20.
