Strategy Talk

If you have any questions, (contest selection, GPP strategy, cash game strategy, what tools to use, what statistics to look at, how to keep a positive mindset, how to get your significant other to not hate DFS, etc.) post them in the comments section at the bottom of the page.

Question from Coleistheman:

I don’t know if this is where to ask this, but here it is anyway. Does the one lineup approach work for PGA? I’m wanting to get away from the variance and bankroll drain of MLB next year. I know you guys put out what has to be the best PGA content in the business.

Any place is a good place for a golf question. I love basketball, football, and baseball, but golf is far and away my favorite DFS sport. The sweat lasts four days and there are different elements of the sweat — early Thursday morning, cut sweat Friday, and then the final sweat on Sunday. You get four days for the price of one and you get something to entertain you two workdays a week. Now, if you are looking to get away from the variance of MLB, the one lineup approach for golf probably isn’t your answer. Getting 6/6 through the cut is a tall task each and every week. It is less of a drain on your bankroll though, as you are only putting lineups in once a week compared to every day for baseball. We do have some amazing golf content here at RotoGrinders, so I highly recommend giving it a try. The PGA Tour starts back up in January.

Ive been grinding for years (some success), but I am struggling with NBA right now. What top 3 statistics do you use in regards to picking players for large pool GPP’s? I read all of the great content on here and I still find myself feeling like I am missing a piece to the puzzle in my roster construction. Any help is greatly appreciate. Thanks in advance!
