After beating the Predators by a score of 3-2 in front of the home crowd both teams will now head down to Nashville to do it all over again this afternoon. The win not only helped the team stay right in the thick of things where the playoffs are concerned, it also gave them their fifth win in a row. Vladimir Tarasenko was able to score his 19th goal as he now leads the team with nine points over the last seven games while skating with Brayden Schenn and Ryan O’Reilly on the team’s top line. O’Reilly is the choice if you are playing duos this afternoon as he leads the team with 20 goals and 33 assists so far this season. Tyler Bozak centers Alexander Steen and Jaden Schwartz on the team’s second line that went scoreless yesterday leaving them with a combined one goal and one assist over the team’s last seven games. Oskar Sundqvist may be a decent punt play here as he grabbed his fifth point over the last six games while skating with Patrick Maroon and Zach Sanford on the team’s third line. Defenseman Vince Dunn also had a good game yesterday as his seventh goal now gives him 23 points on the year which leads all St Louis defensemen in that category. Alex Pietrangelo and Colton Parayko can be looked at here if the price is right.
