NHL Grind Down: Tuesday, December 4th
The RotoGrinders NHL Grind Down article will give you an in-depth analysis into the NHL schedule. This article will break down the numbers for every single game and give you analysis on which trends you can exploit. While matchups are a major factor in daily fantasy hockey there are plenty of other factors to consider such as injuries, salaries, and more.
The analysis should point you in the right direction, but it is still up to you to decipher the information and make your own selections. Hockey is an extremely high variance sport. The best choice is not always the right choice but following the trends will win you money over time.

The Jets head to New York to face the hot Islanders.
While the Jets are one of the best teams in hockey, that does not mean we should ignore the Islanders, who are a really tough team to beat at home, and have some of the cheapest correlating line stacks with upside.
Barzal, Lee and Bailey are all way too cheap across the industry and I would consider stacking them against anyone given their production and opportunity in their roles.
Nick Leddy has to be up there for the biggest fantasy disappointment this year.
For a guy who is planted on that top powerplay unit, he is priced with the defensemen who are healthy scratches.
Eventually Leddy has to do something in this role and he is a viable punt on defence because no one can go this long in his role with no production.
Good matchups usually bring the best out of them, but they are capable in any matchup, and tougher matchups simply lower their ownership, but not their upside.
Patrik Laine has been scorching hot since quitting Fortnite and there are some whispers of a 50 goals in 50 games threat.
I personally have trouble paying up for him because I am not sure how long this production lasts, but 21 goals in 24 games is pretty remarkable and he has 19 of those in his last 14.
Wayne Gretzky might have some company 36 games from now or even sooner!
