NHL Grind Down: Tuesday, January 8th
The RotoGrinders NHL Grind Down article will give you an in-depth analysis into the NHL schedule. This article will break down the numbers for every single game and give you analysis on which trends you can exploit. While matchups are a major factor in daily fantasy hockey there are plenty of other factors to consider such as injuries, salaries, and more.
The analysis should point you in the right direction, but it is still up to you to decipher the information and make your own selections. Hockey is an extremely high variance sport. The best choice is not always the right choice but following the trends will win you money over time.

Minnesota Wild at Boston Bruins

The Minnesota Wild head into Boston to face one of the toughest teams in hockey on their home ice.
The Wild are a team that can match the Bruins physicality, but they lack the talent that the Bruins have. Their one good line will have to deal with Patrice Bergeron all night, and anyone who follows hockey close knows that is a death sentence for a pretty good scoring line.
Bergeron is the best two way center in hockey, and his linemates are outstanding at dominating possession. The Bruins also have a good penalty kill, so on a slate this big, I see know reason to target Wild.
On the Bruins end, I absolutely love that lethal top line. Whether it be because I am a Leafs fan and have seen the torture this line has provided to my fandom or if it is because they are statistically the best two way line in hockey with the benefit of home ice, I simply cannot resist that against Alex Stalock.
This should be a pretty tight game, but I always love that top line in a game like this as they are able to play any brand of hockey necessary to generate offence.
