Introduction

Since I can remember, mass multi-entering and scripting tournaments has been a controversial topic within the DFS industry. The argument is about how many entries are too many entries for a single tournament, and the sites seem to have decided that anything over 150 is too much. DraftKings and FanDuel both adopted that number in 2016. I’m sure that many sites would prefer to allow only one lineup per player, but the fact is that the people who mass multi-enter help fill the giant guaranteed prize pools that players have come to expect every day. Personally, I’d rather be able to play for a million dollars, even if it means dealing with people putting hundreds of lineups into a single tournament.

It would be easy to complain about those who enter tournaments the maximum number of times, but that’s not exactly a useful outlet for our energy. Instead, in order to make money in tournaments with small buy-ins and big prize pools, it’s best if we ourselves learn how to mass multi-enter.

By doing so, you’ll be on an even playing field with people who have the maximum number of entries in every tournament. You’ll be able to have 150 chances to win rather than just one. I’m still shocked at how often people ask me whether they should enter a $100 buy-in one time or a $1 buy-in 100 times. Every single time, without exception, the answer is more entries in smaller tournaments.

“But I can’t enter that many lineups,” is a common response. As hard as it is to believe, scripting is WAY easier than it looks. In November of 2015, I started playing DFS full time. I was a guy who always put a couple of entries by hand in every tournament, and every weekend I would end up frustrated and with less money than I had before.

After some research, I realized that I wasn’t struggling with picking good plays. Instead, I struggled with picking the perfect lineup. Selecting a lineup that’s going to beat over 100,000 other lineups is HARD. In fact, it’s nearly impossible. Every week, though, I would build a couple of lineups, put them in every tournament on DraftKings and FanDuel $300 and lower, then lose money with lineups that were always just a couple of players away from being perfect.

When I taught myself how to script, everything changed. Instead of spending $500 for one lineup, I started spending $500 for 500 lineups. Almost immediately, I hit it big with scripting. On Nov 26, I finished third out of 114,499 lineups in a $20 tournament on DraftKings for $50,000. I entered 50 lineups. It was, by far, my single biggest score to date. I entered the same script in the $3 and $20 DraftKings satellite contests to the Fantasy Football World Championship. I got first in both of those. Suddenly, I had turned my 50 teams into over $60,000 in cash and two seats to the biggest live final in the history of fantasy sports.

It was without a doubt the single craziest day of my life in regard to fantasy football … and it would have been impossible to do if I was just running one lineup. Over the next few months, I multi-entered NFL tournaments as often as possible. I subsequently won another DraftKings live final seat by scripting a $20 qualifier. The same week I finished top-100 in a $3 Millionaire Maker. Since then, I’ve been successfully scripting every sport, giving myself the best chance to win big money while playing in the softest tournaments on the internet.

In this course, you’ll learn how to script the NFL and give yourself 150 chances at a big payday instead of just one chance. You’ll learn that scripting is almost always better than doing a single entry, especially when they cost the same. You’ll learn how to use the free RotoGrinders Lineup Builder tool, which I used to create my winning lineups. You’ll learn what the biggest mistake is that people make when scripting. You’ll learn how to handle so many teams. Really, everything I know about scripting the NFL is right here.

If you prefer single entries or three-max tournaments, I get it … I really do. Personally, I’m more of an ‘if you can’t beat ‘em, join ‘em’ kind of a guy. Rather than dwelling on the entry discrepancy between you and the competition, give scripting a try. It’ll increase your chances of winning. Oh yeah, and one more thing … having 150 teams is a helluva lot more fun than one team.
