Targeting Players from Favored Teams

Of course, just looking at the total line of the game won’t really give you a good idea of which games to target. After all, we keep hearing the sharp players telling us to avoid the blowouts because we don’t want to take a superstar in a 10-point or more spread, because in a blowout that superstar is more likely to sit in the fourth quarter and not get his full allotment of minutes. So do the numbers agree with us here or do they tell a different story?

Once we start looking at the line in the game, we can see that teams that are heavily favored do produce higher than average fantasy points.
