PIT WR Steven Sims elevated from practice squad for Sunday
Steven Sims has been elevated from the practice squad for Sunday's game against the Detroit Lions. Sims is expected to serve as receiver depth and also play on special teams but does not figure to be DFS relevant at this time.

Steven Sims is officially active for Washington Sunday, as expected. It will be his first game since Week 3, and he should jump right back in as the 2nd WR in the Washington offense
Washington reportedly activating Steven Sims off injured reserve
Washington is expected to activate Steven Sims off of IR on Saturday, clearing him to return to action. Sims suffered a toe injury back in Week 3 and hasn't played since. The Washington QB has changed from Dwayne Haskins to Kyle Allen since Sims got hurt, and it remains to be seen what effect, if any, that will have on Sims role. He should jump back in as the second WR behind clear top target Terry McLaurin.

McLaurin was limited in practice for a second straight day, and he's officially been listed as questionable on Washington's injury report for Sunday's Week 4 matchup against the Baltimore Ravens due to a thigh injury. As for Sims, he wasn't able to practice the entire week with a toe injury and will officially be inactive for this weekend's contest. However, Sims' absence won't have too significant of an impact on Washington's wide receiver corps after he was held targetless on 14 routes prior to his exit in last Sunday's loss, but it should still allow Isaiah Wright and Antonio Gandy-Golden to absorb the vacated snaps as the third and fourth wideouts in spread formations even if they aren't necessarily relevant for daily fantasy formats.

Sims had been questionable, but is officially active for Week 3. He should be the Football Team's second option at WR, however the Washington passing game has not been effective this season, averaging 200.5 yards and 1 TD passing per game so far.

McLaurin has been ruled out for Sunday with a concussion. His absence creates a nice opportunity for Steven Sims and Kelvin Harmon in the final game of the season.

Richardson and Quinn were both ruled out for Sunday, giving the Redskins little WR depth behind Terry McLaurin. Kelvin Harmon should be the number two option, while Steven Sims and Cam Sims compete for the rest of the WR workload.
