“Both moneylines are better than the playoff odds so makes more sense to go that route if you like one of the teams.”

UNLESS THEY TIE. Ugly beat for the Commanders/Giants rationale last week.

At least we nailed the Bengals (+240 to win the AFC North). Baltimore struggled against Denver and lost Lamar Jackson while Cincinnati knocked off Kansas City. The Bengals’ odds to win the division were cut half, down to even money at Caesars. FanDuel has the longest odds right now at +125.

Bet This in Week 14: Joe Burrow to Win MVP (+900 on FanDuel)

Been waiting patiently to hop back into the MVP market. Now is the time.

Patrick Mahomes and Jalen Hurts have pulled away as co-favorites. Makes sense, they’ve been excellent and have the best records in their conferences (tied for 1st in Mahomes’ case).

The key is Burrow’s schedule. The difficult road for the Bengals actually works in his favor. Check out how this sets up for his resume…

If Burrow leads them to four Ws in that stretch, he’s in the conversation. And the No. 1 seed is in play after beating the Chiefs. Could get interesting, worth a small play while he’s still at 9-to-1.

Don’t Bet This in Week 14: Chris Olave to win Offensive Rookie of the Year (+600 on FanDuel)

One of these things is not like the others…

That was Tuesday morning and the Olave number on FanDuel is already down to +600. Was able to hop on it at +1000 but there’s still value. Saints are off this week so no rush, don’t see him moving ahead of Watson (also on a bye). Might get a better number if Walker gets healthy and has a decent game.

Garrett Wilson and Christian Watson have burst onto the scene the past month, but Olave has been producing all season. He should top 1,000 receiving yards in a couple weeks and has a shot at 80+ catches. Just seems like the FanDuel price is an outlier.

Honestly, all three of those WRs are worth a look. Kenneth Walker as the favorite is pretty flimsy. He’s barreled headfirst into the rookie wall, trudging for 79 yards on 27 carries over the past three weeks. Not to mention the mysterious ankle injury. Wouldn’t be surprised to see Wilson pass him this week.
