This thread is not about you and me Bill but I'm going to respond here because you continue to bring it up. Maybe I've been a Nascar fan since about 1972,can't remember. Maybe I was one of the absolute best Nascar gambling professionals many years ago wh... Read More
+1Why should just 1 driver in a 6 driver lineup be the completely overwhelming factor as to who wins a H2H or 50/50 contest. If you pick the dominator and 5 other drivers who have an average day then in most cases you'll beat a lineup with 6 drivers who had ... Read More
+2I agree that one way to reduce chalk is to post salaries after qualifying. Unlikely to happen. The next best way to reduce chalk imo is to reduce the 2 scoring components that are causing a lot of the chalk, laps led and PD. Read More
Are you being serious Bill? Who are some of the chalky plays we're trying to reduce? !. The polesitter and just about any top 3 qualifier has been huge chalk because of too many laps led points. If you don't nail the dominator then your chances of winnin... Read More
+1I really hope that Draftkings follows the advice from one of the top Nascar players. Reducing laps led and place differential points will reduce lineup duplication. Read More
Martinsville has 500 laps. When the race winner only receives 46 points then giving .25 points for each lap led is way too much. Don't do away with laps led points but definitely reduce them to where finishing position is more important. Read More
I see your point and agree with it being on shaky legal ground. You're probably referring to the "multiple events" language in the UIGEA, Prior to Draftkings Nascar in 2015 there was a very clear and strong consensus in the DFS community that Nascar viola... Read More
+2The negative 30+ points for place differential for a top 5 qualifier has to go. IMO this severe crash penalty turns off more casual Nascar players than anything else. While you should lose your GPP contests with a crash you should still be able to win H2... Read More
Completely agree here although I think doubling finishing points gives proper weight. The chances of Draftkings listening and making any changes are pretty slim though. Read More
We are betting on the race. Betting that one lineup beats the other but that's another argument. Laps led and Place diff have been given over-the-top importance here not finishing position. You have to give proper weight in any DFS sport. A touchdown is... Read More
Finishing position should dwarf all other stats. Where you finish is more important than how many laps you lead. With the current scoring if a driver does lead 60% of the laps and he's not in your lineup then you lose no matter how good your 6 drivers do. Read More
From the beginning of Nascar in 1947 there has always been one statistic that has been more important and held more weight than any other and that is finishing position. Nascar has used finishing position as it's main stat to determine it's champion up unt... Read More
He was absolutely an obvious play if you were playing multiple or max lineups. If you were only playing 1 or 2 lineups like most players do he wasn't an obvious pick last week imo. There was so much value with the 3 Hendrick cars and Bowyer and Jones miss... Read More

+1I agree with you here although there are situations where giving picks can violate Draftkings TOS. It's a fine line. Read More
+1Just because you personally don't listen to podcasts or subscribe to sites doesn't mean nobody else does. I've seen a big increase in Nascar tout services over the last year and I've experienced it in most of the contests I've entered. Read More

+1I'm not saying that Cassill wasn't a good pick. Most players like yourself decided to use him because of your own knowledge and reseasrch. But if you think that several touts, including some in this thread, recommending Cassill as a pick had nothing to d... Read More

+1So imo Miami was correct about Cassills usage being inflated by tout recommendations and that's why I agreed with him. Lineup selling is good for the sellers bankroll but bad for the DFS ecosystem imo and it will continue to get worse until Draftkings fol... Read More
