  • Over the Pond EURO DFG: Open De France

This week in EURO Tour action isn't only another featured Rolex Series event - one with a bigger prize pool and bigger Ryder Cup implications for the European players - it also will be a chance for the attendees to get their first crack at the course what will serve as the final round in the Ryder Cup this September. Aside from the regular motivations of those trying to keep their tour cards and trying to play their way onto the Ryder Cup team, this added wrinkle means that the stars will be in France this week, and should be a fascinating tournament to follow. • Over The Pond EURO DFG: Shot Clock Masters

Not content with running up to the US Open with just another boring event, in Austria this week on the EURO Tour we see a re-branding of the Lyoness Open as the Shot Clock Masters, or as I keep calling it, the Shot Clock Violation Open. Read More

  • Over the Pond EURO DFG: Italian Open

Francesco Molinari had a stellar four days in England last week, capping it off a 4th round 68 to finish at 17 under par to hold off Rory McIlrory and win the BMW PGA Championship. He'll be looking to continue that white-hot form this week on home soil as he competes in the Italian Open and further attempts to firm his hold on a place on the European Ryder Cup Team. Read More

Set in the classic Wentworth Club's West Course in Surrey, the BMW PGA Championship kicks off another high-money opportunity for the golfers on the EURO Tour - and a golden opportunity to firm up places in the Ryder Cup squad. After last week's DFG-unfriendly EURO GolfSixes event, won by "Team Ireland" and *Paul Dunne* and *Gavin Moynihan*, and this week's TPC Sawgrass even in Florida for the PGA, which attracts even more EURO stars, we come to the 2018 version of the Rocco Forte Sicilian Open, the event that gave me the EURO daily fantasy golf bug for good. • Over the Pond DFG Special: WGC Mexico Championship

This week the World Golf Championships host their first event of the 2018 Golf season, the Mexico Championships at Chapultepec Golf Club at the high altitude of Mexico City. The World Golf Championships, a sort-of World Cup for professional golf, is different than regular PGA events in that it is sanctioned by all the major golf federations - the PGA, the European Tour, the Asian Tour, the Canadian Tour, and others, and such earn very large championship points for all federations (due to the fact that the purse is so big).
